Richland Creek is located in the foothills of the ozarks in central Arkansas. The water here is a stunning shade of blue all year round. The hiking here is difficult, so come prepared with a good pair of shoes with good traction.
The main attractions here are Richland Falls and Twin falls. Several river crossing are required to reach both of these locations, so make sure you water-proof your gear!
Except for the crossings, the hike is not very strenuous. The trail is very pet friendly if you want to bring the family dog. The entire hike takes about 7 hours at a brisk pace.
